MVV Piano and Friends Outreach Initiative Montgomery County
The Mount Vernon Virtuosi created the Piano and Friends Outreach Initiative during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to expand our educational outreach activities and bring classical music into schools and classrooms throughout Montgomery County, Maryland.
Pianist Alon Goldstein and his own students shared half-hour musical events over Zoom with public school students, highlighting and demonstrating the piano and the collaborative magic that happens when grouped with other instruments such as violin, viola, cello, and voice.
